This Week at Jubilee...

Upcoming Events

--------------------------

The Believers Class is beginning again! Would you like to become a member of Jubilee? Are you considering baptism? Talk to Duane or Elaine about joining.

Wednesday night Bible Study resumes this week! A simple supper will be served at 6:00. A suggested donation of $2 per person is asked to cover the cost. Worship, prayer, and the Bible lesson will begin at 6:30 and end by 7:45. Join us to discuss Genesis 15, in which God invited Abraham to count the stars and made him a promise. There are activities for children, youth, and adults, and nursery is provided. Please plan on joining us! If you have questions, see Anita Wansley.

Next Sunday Jubilee will be honored by a visit from David and Esther Kniss. Dave was Sabbatical pastor for Jubilee in 2007.

On Sept. 21, Brenda Buxton, Director of Community of Hope, will be introduced and will share her hopes for the new year of ministry. Questions? See Lisa Shelly.

On Sunday September 28, Jubilee welcomes Jerry and Marlene Kaufman as our preachers. The Kaufmans, authors of Monday Marriage, are experienced marriage counselors. One of the priorities of Jubilee's Elders/Pastors Team is to strengthen Jubilee's marriages. We are grateful the Kaufmans are available to speak to us on this subject. Questions? Talk to Duane Maust.

We are in the process of revising the church directory. Please look on the bulletin board outside the office and make any revisions to your entry so that it will appear as you desire in the directory. Questions, see Lisa Shelly.

Happy Birthday to Brittany Wansley (Sep 2), Jayson Chisolm (Sep 5), Dara Dominici (Sep 8), Jorge Vivar (Sep 10), and Gerri Thompson (Sep 13)!
