ANNOUNCEMENTS

--------------------------
This Week at Jubilee...

Upcoming Events
--------------------------

There will be a prayer walk this afternoon at 3:00. Everyone is invited to join us as we walk around the church building, dedicating a new year of worship, nurture, service, and evangelism to God. Questions? Please contact Duane or Elaine Maust.

Jubilee's Pastor/Elder team will meet on Wednesday morning for prayer and to discuss how Jubilee can continue to faithfully follow God's direction for us. If you have questions or ideas you want to share, please talk to Jeff Landis, worship elder.

Everyone is welcome to Jubilee's Bible Study on Wednesday night. A simple meal will be served at 6:00 in the gym. Worship begins at 6:45 in the sanctuary. There will be classes for all ages. If you have questions, please talk to Anita Wansley.

Jubilee welcomes our sister church, 8th Street Mennonite from Goshen, Indiana on January 10. Friends from 8th Street will serve at Jubilee and in the community that week. In honor of their visit, there will be a pot luck meal on Sunday, January 10. Questions? Talk to Anita Wansley.

On January 10, we will share a Communion Service. All baptized believers are invited to share the cup and the bread. Crackers and grapes will be provided for those anticipating their baptism. Questions? Talk to Duane or Elaine Maust.

At the end of the worship service on January 17, the congregation will be asked to vote on a proposed amendment to the Jubilee Church Constitution which would change the quorum requirement at congregational meetings from 50% of members to a minimum of 12 members. For details, see the bulletin insert and please see Mike Clymer, congregational chair, if you have further questions.

On January 17, Jubilee celebrates 30 years as a congregation and 16 years in this building. On that day we will share memories of God's faithfulness in a special service. More information will be coming. Please invite your friends, former members, and others who may have moved away. If you have ideas for this day, talk to Anita Wansley or Duane or Elaine Maust.

Electronic giving is an option for those donating regularly to Jubilee. Funds can be automatically transferred from your checking account to the church's bank account weekly or monthly. To explore this convenient option, talk to Cheryl Landis.
